Weekly Information

P.E  -will be on a Monday. Children can wear their PE kits to school. A PE kit consists of a white or team coloured t-shirt, black shorts, tracksuit bottoms or leggings and trainers.

Book bags are encouraged to be brought into school daily – Try to listen to your child read every day. Once they have finished their book, please let us know by writing in their reading record. You can also let us know what words they found tricky and how well they read. We will try to hear your child read every week individually and during Guided Reading Sessions.

Snack –Children are encouraged to bring a healthy snack to school to eat during first play.

Spelling - New spelling words will be given out on a Friday. The children will have time to practise them in school, but we would also like you to practise them at home too. You can find the words below.

Maths - As a class we are focusing on learning our timetables so we can recall them rapidly. It would be amazing if you spent some time each week using J2Blast with your child. They will also bring home some homework related to our topic or the timetables on a Friday. This can be brought back to school at any point the following week.
