Head Teacher's Welcome

A very warm welcome to Tre Uchaf Primary School website.  I hope that you enjoy visiting the site and that it enables you to get a feel for our wonderful school. Remember that if you wish to visit us, our door is always open to welcome you.

Tre Uchaf Primary is a medium-sized school in Loughor with 2 specialist teaching facilities that cater for children with moderate to severe learning difficulties. We value our partnerships with parents and we believe that teachers, parents, Governors and the wider community working together will provide the best possible opportunity for all the children to thrive and succeed. We are committed to achieving the very highest of standards by offering your child a happy, caring, nurturing environment that will cater for all their developing needs. Our children play a key role in determining our curriculum and shaping the learning and future of our school.

At Tre Uchaf we understand that each child is unique in their own way.   We have high aspirations for every child and an expectation that they will achieve their full potential when they are with us and as they continue their lifelong learning.  Our school motto is ‘Belong, Believe and Be the best you can be!’.  We aim to encourage everyone to believe in themselves, feel a sense of belonging in our school as part of the whole school family and strive to be the best version of themselves-always! We are optimistic about what our children can achieve regardless of the barriers they face and encourage our children to have a ‘can do’ attitude even when they face challenges.

I hope that our website gives you a flavour of our values, vision and aims. The website has lots of information about events and important news, general information and school policies as well as some links to learning resources that can help you and your child at home. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for additional pages or further information.

Thank you for visiting our website.
