Exploring inherited traits and the human genome.

Sea Holly enjoying a fun, practical session learning about how we inherit certain characteristics and traits from one or both parents.  The pupils created their own simplified genome based on a handful of factors such as tongue rolling ability, ear lobe attachment, finger print style, eye colour and even whether or not they liked the taste of tonic water.

We discovered that with just under 10 factors,  all 25 mini-genomes were different and unique.
